Description :

Adult softball is a fair weather favorite for the Galesburg area.  Our summer leagues run from the second week of May through August with 14 games + a double elimination tournament. Our league is open (ie no rules on male or female players) & meets on Tuesday nights.  During the regular league season teams play 14 games. Based on those standings, a championship tournament will be seeded.  Trophies will be awarded for the top three places for championship tournaments only. 

Teams must register prior to the final deadline - no late registrations will be accepted. Player fees are due at time of team registration and include 15 spaces on your team roster. Players must sign a waiver (either online, or in house) prior to playing. Any additions to the roster beyond 15 will be $10 per player & must be processed by the office. The player fees and team fees must both be completely paid for registration to be complete.

We will abide by the 2018 ASA Rules & Regulations. Copies of rule books are available at both score tables and the office for your review. Additionally our bylaws include some clarifications and house rules that we will abide by. These will be made available prior to the start of games. 

All teams will have free access to backstops in public parks for practicing.

Early Bird Team Registration by 4/7/2025: $640 ($490 team fee + $150 player fee)

Team Registration by 4/21/2025: $680 ($530 team fee + $150 player fee)

Free Agent Registration (due prior to playing): $10

Notes : Team captains will receive a link to register their players on Quick Scores. First 15 players on team are included in team fee, and additional players must be added through the Lakeside Recreation Office. Team captains can also provide a roster list to the office, and we will enter the players into Quickscores. No player registration occurs through Amilia, except for free agent and additional players past 15. Schedule will be published on Quick Scores no later than the Monday prior to the league starting.
