Help us maintain the Lakeside Nature Center natural area! Possible tasks include but are not limited to: 

• Trail maintenance
• Weeding in pollinator plot
• Planting
• Plant ID assistance
• Cleaning outdoor spaces
• Trash/debris pick up

This is an excellent opportunity for those who need to get a specific amount of volunteer hours for school or other organizations. 

Saturday, May 3, 10am-12pm

Saturday May 10, 11am-1pm

Notes : Our main goal for these work days is to clean up trash around the nature center, clear the numerous trails for hiking, and do possible plant maintenance in the Pollinator Plot. If you are interested in other outdoor projects during this time period or others, please contact Angie Buchen at 309/345-3684. - Please bring any gardening tools you like and gloves to protect your hands - Basic supplies will be provided - Bring water if you'd like

Prérequis : - 14 or older - 13 & under with adult supervision - Able to do light to heavy manual labor
