(Ages 6 - 11) Spring is a spectacular time to explore the Pacific Northwest! Explore the buds and blooms of our native plants, and study the pollinators that help them grow. Learn why animals migrate as birds move from their warmer winter homes to their summer roosts further north, and watch the world wake up as the temperatures rise. Guided by professional educators, campers will practice naturalist skills, engage in hands on learning with games and exploration, and build an understanding of the ecosystems all around them. Come see what makes spring so spectacular!

Refund and Transfer Policy:

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable.  Exceptions can be made for illness.

Prérequis : Nature Vision camps at Farrel-McWhirter Park (FM) have a low to moderate physical demand. Much of the terrain is relatively flat. There are some rougher trails within the park, as well as the ability to move into the neighboring Juel Park for groups that are prepared for more strenuous and/or technical exploration. The main camp area has easy access to potable water and accessible bathrooms. This site best serves campers who are able to stay with their group on and off trail; cones and signs act as physical reminders of boundaries in the wide-open grassy fields. FM also hosts a working farm, and campers must be able to follow instructions regarding interactions with horses for the well-being of people and animals.
