Description :

(Ages 2 - 12) Bundle up and enjoy at day at the Farm with the ponies. Participating children can meet other pony loving kids, be creative, and have fun. A great way to make two - legged and 4 - legged friends alike.

What the bring:

  • Long pants and closed toed shoes are required.
  • A ASTM/SEI certified equestrian helmet is required. The Horseback Riding program has a small assortment of helmets to borrow.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany each registered child.

This class includes all things pony including: a pony ride, a pony craft, pony meet and greet, and music and snacks in the Big Red Barn. A perfect lower time and cost introduction to pony fun!

Cancellations received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 24 hours before activity start time. Exceptions can be made for illness.

Notes : Thank You for registering for a horseback riding program at Farrel-McWhirter Park! Some important information: A parent or a guardian must accompany each registered child. This is a self - led program with stations that participants can ride a pony, make a craft, pet a pony friend, and eats snacks. Please dress for the weather. Long pants & boots are required for this program. We provide ASTM/SEI-Certified equestrian helmets or bring your own certified equestrian helmet.
