(Ages 18+) A drum circle is a lively, communal gathering where people come together to create spontaneous rhythm and connection through drumming and percussion. Open to all skill levels, drum circles emphasize collaboration over performance — there are no spectators, only participants. The collective beat fosters a sense of unity, mindfulness, and energy, often used for celebration, stress relief, or community building. Whether on a beach, in a park, or indoors, a drum circle transforms simple rhythms into a shared heartbeat of creativity and joy.

One of the amazing things science has discovered about drumming is its ability to activate and stimulate the brain to improve clarity of thinking and memory. Drumming also provides:.

Hand drums and other percussion instruments are available for use during class, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have them, as well.
