(Ages 7 - 14) One time trail ride experience. Experience the beauitful summer trails of Farrel - McWhirter Park from horseback. This lesson includes a basic review of stearing and stopping and then a guided trail ride through the forest and fields of the park.

What the bring:

• Long pants and closed toed shoes with a heel are required for this program.
• ASTM/SEI certified equestrian helmet is required. The Horseback Riding program has a small assortment of boots and helmets to borrow.
• Please be on time. Students that are more than 10 minutes late and that miss the safety briefing may not be admitted to the lesson.

Horseback riding provides physical exercise, and has been proven to lower cortisol levels and help support mental health in all ages. A great introduction to riding on trails!

Refund and Transfer Policy:

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable. Exceptions can be made for illness.
