(Ages 12-18) This activity is designed for participants to gain knowledge and hands-on experience with different life skills to help them thrive beyond the classroom. 

This 6 week series will look to cover the following:

Car Basics: How to jump start a car. Check oil and tire pressure. How to change tires, headlights, wipers, and fluid.

Employment Tips: Resume building, job applications, and practicing interviewing for a job.

Mental Health and Self Care: Managing stress, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness.

Toolkit Basics: Learn to use basic hand and power tools.

Finance/Budgeting: Investing, retirement, taxes, credit scores, loans, and saving.

First Aid Basics: How to treat basic injuries using a first aid kit (No Certification).

All skill levels are welcome. No experience is required. All materials are provided.

Refund and Transfer Policy:

Cancellations and transfer requests received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund of activity fees, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations or transfers received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund of activity fee, or 50% of activity fee transferred to a future program. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 3 business days before start date. The credit card processing fee is nonrefundable. Exceptions can be made for illness.
