Kids, families, and adults without kids are all welcome to this fun, tactile class! You will learn the basics of working with clay using hand building techniques. We will work on pottery projects like bowls, ornaments, sculptures, and more!

This is a great experience for children 6 and up, as well as adults. For kids that might need a little extra help, we recommend that an adult sign up with them. The #1 rule is to have fun! As students progress they can choose their own projects while continuing to build their skills. This class will also go over the basics of glazing clay. Participants should wear clothes they don’t mind getting a little dirty.

Family members wishing to be in the classroom need to register due to space limitations.

Notes : Clay is provided with a $20 fee payable to your instructor at the start of class. Bisque and glaze firing is charged at $0.06 per cubic inch. Class will take place in Studio 128. There will be tools available to share during class, but you may also pick up your own pottery toolkit at the front desk for $15.

Prérequis : Recommended for beginners and for people who are interested in refining skills they have learned in prior classes.
