This 9-week course is ideal for those who have completed our Watercolor Technique & Color Theory Essentials program and wish to paint with purpose. Whether you prefer realism or abstraction, this class will help you create meaningful paintings that express your unique artistic voice.

Watercolor Unbound offers personalized instruction for aspiring artists aged 12 and up, enhances foundational skills, and guides you from planning to painting. Each session aims to deepen technical expertise and unleash creativity in a supportive small-group setting for up to 8 student participants.

In this course, you’ll:

Expand your mastery of color theory, practicing advanced techniques for color matching and manipulation to bring depth and emotion to your work. Dive deeper into layering, learning how to build rich, dynamic compositions with control and confidence. Engage fully in the creative process, from sketching initial concepts to completing polished paintings, whether capturing a landscape’s beauty or exploring bold abstract forms.

Bri Austin brings her expertise and enthusiasm to every lesson, helping you improve your application of the Essentials. This course goes beyond painting—it’s about crafting meaningful work that reflects your vision.
