Description :
New to pottery? This one-session class is a great way to get started on the wheel. Whether you're just curious, looking for a creative night out, or thinking about joining our Wheel Pottery Foundations course, this class is designed for total beginners. Over two guided hours, you'll learn the basic techniques of wheel throwing, make up to two simple cylinder forms, and get a feel for the tools, rhythm, and joy of working with clay. You’ll be walked through each step as a group — no one gets left behind — and we’ll take care of the trimming and glazing after class so you can simply enjoy the experience. Choose from a few glaze options and pick up your finished pieces a few weeks later. Please note that participants must be 15 years of age or older. Check out our dedicated kids classes for other opportunities to learn!
