Ready to take your throwing to the next level? Join renowned ceramicist Kay Austen for a specialized two-session class focused on the architecture of the lidded vessel. This course is designed for intermediate potters who are comfortable throwing a 6" cylinder and are looking to add precision, functionality, and flair to their work.

Format

• Session 1 (1.5h): A deep-dive technical demo.

• Independent practice: One week of independent practice to apply what you’ve learned at your own wheel. Use of Create Makerspace studio is not included in this ticket.

• Session 2 (1h): Reconvene one week later for a troubleshooting review and final discussion.
