CYGNUS RECREATIONAL CLASSES

We are very excited to announce our Cygnus Fall Recreational Program! We thank you for your patience and commitment as we continue to follow Public Health Guidelines to safely bring you gymnastics.

REGISTRATION

As part of our ongoing safety measures, registrations for the Fall Session will take place exclusively online in the comfort of your own homes! 

Current Member* Registration: Opens Monday, July 19 @ 10am
New Member Registration: Opens Tuesday, July 20 @ 10am

Please note that all registration is taking place ONLINE only and our office will be closed during the registration period. We are unable to answer phone inquiries at this time. We will have staff available to answer support e-mails at info@cygnusgym.com. 

*A member is someone who has been registered in at least one program since September 2020. If you have not been registered with us this season, you would not be a member.

Note our registration system only accepts Visa and Master Card. We do not accept Visa Debit, American Express and other cards. 

Registrations are only complete once payment has been received. You have 30 minutes to apply a payment to your registration. After 30 minutes, if you have not applied a payment, your session will expire and your registration will be canceled.

Once your registration is complete, check your e-mail – A copy of your receipt will be in your inbox! If you did not receive this, please contact our office ASAP at info@cygnusgym.com

FALL SCHEDULE

Our schedule is now available below. If you're unsure of which program to register for, please contact Brandon prior to registration at recreation@cygnusgym.com

Registrations for the incorrect program or at the incorrect time, will result in being removed from the class, a refund issued and a $30.00 administration fee applied. 

Children must be the age for their program by October 4, 2021

COVID IMPLICATIONS

Until advised otherwise by Public Health, we will have our extensive safety measures in place in accordance with public health guidelines and regulations, with the same commitment to a fun and interactive environment! Some notable safety adjustments:

• Waivers prior to entry for all staff and participants (online)

• All activities planned with physical distancing taken into account

• Increased hand sanitization

• Increased signage

• Cashless payments, paperless registration with online forms and registration 

• Drop Off and Pick up requirements: Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your class. If you do arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your class, please have your athlete wait on the stairwell markers until their coach comes to greet them inside.

• Strict cleaning policies with mitigated class length times

• No viewing Area: At the moment remains closed due to building capacity & social distancing regulations.** Parents should accompany their children to the bottom of the stairwell entry. Our coaches will come down and bring them into the building and the same at the end of practice.**NOTE: Exception to our viewing room closure are the Rollin Rascals, Tipsy Toesies, and Adaptive Needs classes. For these classes, families may select one parent/guardian for the session who is permitted to enter the facility for the duration of the class. All those entering the facility must fill out our waiver before entry.

WAITLIST PROCEDURES 

Our waitlist process is an automated first-come, first-served process through our registration system. 

If the class you are interested in is full, you can waitlist through our registration system. You are not required to pay for any waitlisted spaces and you can waitlist for any number of slots. You will get an e-mail confirming the classes you have waitlisted for. If you did not get this e-mail, you are not waitlisted. 

If a space becomes available, our system will contact all those on the waitlist via e-mail. These spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you miss the space, you will remain on the waitlist and be notified in the same manner for any subsequent availabilities. 

If you are registered for another class and a waitlisted space becomes available for another, you will have to pay for the waitlisted class to reserve your space. We will refund this amount in full and will not deduct an administrative fee. 

This process is required so that we can efficiently move through our waitlist as quickly as possible.  

CANCELLATIONS

Each year Cygnus turns a number of children away from our classes due to lack of room. This year, we expect more due to reduced capacities. Due to this and other factors, our cancellation policy is robust to better our ability to fill that space with another interested participant.

• If a refund is requested up to one week before the first day of class, you will receive a full refund less a $30 administration fee and Gymnastics NL fees.

• If requested less than one week before the first day of class, no refund will be issued.

• If your child is ill or, for any reason, misses one or more days of class, we will not be able to provide a partial refund.

• After the first day of class, refunds are issued for medical reasons only and a doctor’s note must be provided. Medical cancellations will receive a pro-rated refund (less a $30 administration fee per cancelation and Gymnastics NL fees).

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL PROGRAMS AND CLASSES IF MINIMUM NUMBERS ARE NOT MET.

NEW MANDATORY WAIVERS

Our new waiver is available online. This is done online as part of your registration process. In the event you did not complete your waiver, they are available here:

This waiver is mandatory for anyone entering the facility. This includes the designated parent/guardian for Rollin Rascals, Tipsie Toesies and Adaptive Needs classes.

If for exceptional circumstances you must substitute your pre-approved viewing room guardian, you must submit a waiver prior to your arrival or it may impact permissible entry in to the viewing room. 

Sign & Submit your waiver to office@cygnusgym.com as soon as possible, directly after you sign-up. At a minimum, all waivers must be received by the office 1 week prior to the start of class or it may impact your child's participation in class.
