We welcome Beginner & Experienced Fencers to join us for Summer Camps

*SPACE IS LIMITED TO 16 PARTICIPANTS

This summer’s weekly camp program is packed full of fencing fun! Our experienced coaches create an environment where campers are engaged, active, interacting with new friends and are always learning and improving.

BEGINNERS – Fencing Calgary considers a beginner to have NO PREVIOUS FENCING EXPERIENCE - Summer Fencing Camps are an exceptional way for those with no previous Fencing experience to TRY the sport for the first time in a fun and immersive week.

FENCERS WITH EXPERIENCE – Participants who are currently in the Fencing Calgary BADGE, Youth + Adult Active for Life or TRAIN Program are considered to be EXPERIENCED

Whether you are a first-time BEGINNER or have EXPERIENCE - All Fencing Campers are exposed to:

• An energetic, hands on and professional team who love Fencing and Leading camps!
• Hours of fencing, learning & play each day. Fencers spend the majority of their time learning new skills, fencing on score boxes and mastering their personal skill goals!
• Detailed daily lesson plans. Our campers are engaged and learning every day of the camp – the summer fencing program requires a lot of energy and fencers will return home tired!
• Activities, games, challenges and a program designed to inspire! 
• An inviting, friendly and caring environment

If this is your first exposure to Fencing OR you’ve been working through badge levels and training for years, our coaching team adapts and individualizes experiences to suit any level.

DATES:

• July 10-14: FENCERS WITH EXPERIENCE ONLY (Ages 10-16) *All BADGE, Youth+Adult Active for Life and TRAIN Programs  
• July 17-21: BEGINNERS & Fencers with Experience (Ages 7-14) *participants Age 7 can attend the 1/2 day option for this camp 
• July 24-28: BEGINNERS & Fencers with Experience (Ages 7-14) *participants Age 7 can attend the 1/2 day option for this camp
• July 31-August 4: BEGINNERS & Fencers with Experience (Ages 7-14) *participants Age 7 can attend the 1/2 day option for this camp
• August 8-11: BEGINNERS & Fencers with Experience (Ages 7-14) *participants Age 7 can attend the 1/2 day option for this camp
• August 14-18: BEGINNERS & Fencers with Experience (Ages 7-14) *participants Age 7 can attend the 1/2 day option for this camp
• August 21-25: Fencers with Experience (Ages 10-16) *All BADGE, Youth+Adult Active for Life and TRAIN Programs  

EQUIPMENT FOR BEGINNERS: As with all Fencing Calgary Programs equipment is provided for beginner level fencers.

*Experienced (All BADGE, Youth+Adult Active for Life and TRAIN Programs) Fencers must provide their own equipment (if you do not own equipment please send us an email)

CAMP TIMES:

Full Day: 9am – 4pm
Half Day AM: 9am – 12pm
Half Day PM: 1pm – 4pm 

**Fencer's must be picked up promptly at the end of camp (4:00pm)

CAMP PRICES (5 Day): 

Full Day: $390.00 + GST 

Half Day: $215.00 + GST

CAMP PRICES (4 Day): 

Full Day: $312.00 + GST 

Half Day: $172 + GST

*All beginner fencers are required to have Annual Affiliations (Alberta Fencing Association $5 & Calgary Community Fencing Association $15)

Our facility will close at 4:15pm sharp. In respect of our team’s time, any late pick ups after 4:15pm will be assessed a $25 late pick up fee.
