Description :
The practice of yoga offers a multitude of benefits. It helps with breathing and posture, as well as meditation to integrate your mind. Stretching, bending and balancing help to align the head, neck and spine. Yoga can also stimulate the circulatory system and keep muscles and joints strong and flexible.
Studies show that yoga helps reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering blood pressure and anxiety levels, induces relaxation and can be useful in pain management. Registration is required to participate; please contact the Senior Center at 336.883.3584. Beginners are welcome!
