Junior Bird Campers spend the day learning the tips and tricks of observing birds from the staff naturalists at PEC. Campers will visit five bird habitats and keep a checklist of the observations they make. At the bird feeding station, campers will learn to use binoculars and spotting scopes while involved in a scientific study of birds. Campers need to be dressed for outdoor activities and the weather and bring a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle.

Notes : Registration opens March 3 for the public. Friends of PEC may register early, beginning February 3 at 9 a.m. A Friends of PEC Family Membership is required for a child to register early.
