Highwood Outdoor Swimming Pool (HOP) is operated by the Highwood Community Association in partnership with the Calgary Outdoor Swimming Pools Association (COSPA). Main Pool -One 4 lane lap pool – Lanes are 3m wide by 25m long with a depth of 1.22 to 2.62m. -Zero entry spray deck with multiple water features and deck fountain -Shallow tot/child pool area Facility -Large concrete and grass deck area -Large fenced green space with picnic tables and a shelter -Large front green space for pre entry picnics -Free Little Library -Newly renovated bathrooms and shower area -Mens and Ladies change rooms with privacy stalls in ladies -Coin operated non refundable $.25 lockers or bring your own lock -Interior temperature controlled showers, and 1 on deck shower Concession -The cash only concession sells prepackaged cold treats, snacks and drinks. -Swim goggles, Gabbys reusable swim diapers and Little Swimmers 1X swim diapers are available at the front counter Lifeguard Supervision -The pool is supervised by qualified lifeguards during business hours.
