The Hearth Room is at the center of the HSCA facility and is our most popular venue. This hall takes its name from the large fireplace that defines the room. Originally a wood burning fireplace, it was converted to natural gas in 1994, and updated again in 2019 during a restoration of the hall.

Book online, up to three hours, minimum 1.5 hours, for small gatherings, meetings, or presentations up to 40 people. Contact rentals@hsca.ca for additional information.

A $250.00 security deposit will be applied at check-out. The security deposit will be returned within 30 days of the rental date. See section C: 1. Security Deposit of the rental agreement for details.

Rental Add-ons

Set-Up, Take Down, Clean-up. Have HSCA's friendly staff complete your hall set-up prior to your arrival and clean up afterwards for $75.00. Hall set-ups come in three configurations: Theater, Board Room, or Classroom. See Hearth Room Set-up/Clean up in the Products Section for additional details. Booking times and cancellation policy for online bookings

• Hearth Room bookings require minimum 7 days notice
• The Hearth Room may booked up to 20 weeks in advance
• Minimum Booking Time: 1.5 hrs. Maximum Booking Time: 3 hrs.
• * Bookings may be cancelled and refunded with 4 weeks (28 days) written notice to rentals@hsca.ca
• * Bookings may be cancelled with a $50 administration fee with 7 days written notice to rentals@hsca.ca
• Bookings cancelled with less than 7 days notice will not be refunded
• Bookings made online can not be re-scheduled, only cancelled and re-booked

* Supersedes section A:4.(A) of the Rental Contract - General/Multi-Use (Online Booking). Refunds include Rental fee, AV System Rental fee, and Hearth Room Set-up/Clean-up fee. System Administration Fees are non-refundable.
