Description

Iowa Center for Children’s Justice is one of only a few programs in the nation providing legal representation for children of divorce or custody disputes. Vision – valuing a child’s voice in divorce and custody disputes. Mission – Iowa Center for Children’s Justice is a nonprofit organization assisting children in custody disputes through child-focused education and legal services. Core Values – expertise, integrity, inclusivity, and innovation. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we rely on grant funding and the support of our sponsors and donors to provide programs and services that support children of divorce and custody disputes. Our divorce workshops provide children with a safe and supportive place to learn and share about divorce with other kids their own age. Please click on the link below to register your child for a workshop. Workshops are held in Des Moines on specific Tuesday evenings and in Clive on specific Thursday evenings. Parents do not attend workshops. Workshops are required in divorce cases filed in Polk and Dallas counties. If your divorce case is filed in a different county, your child is NOT required to attend but may do so on a voluntary basis. Workshops are canceled if Des Moines Public Schools or Waukee Public Schools cancel for bad weather. Contact madie@iaccj.org to reschedule.
