Description

The Kelowna Paddle Centre is a non-profit society operating in cooperation with the City of Kelowna to provide our community safe, accessible paddling sports for families, individuals and competitors. The Kelowna Paddle Centre (KPC) promotes active, healthy lifestyles; love of sport; and appreciation for our waterways. We provide affordable options in an accessible space for all members of the community to enjoy paddling. Our sport helps people to connect with urban wilderness waterways in a safe and welcoming environment. KPC offers annual memberships, drop-in programs, equipment rentals, group bookings (including school field trips), and youth summer camps. We are a public facility with most programs available for anyone to register. As the home for paddle sports in the Central Okanagan, we promote outrigger canoeing, surfski, paddleboarding (SUP), and kayaking. Our fleet includes single, double, triple, six-person, & twelve-person outrigger canoes (va'a); single & double surfskis; single & double kayaks; and single & multi-person paddleboards. We provide all necessary equipment for programs and rentals, including boat/board, PFDs, and paddles.
