Get ready for a holly-jolly extravaganza designed just for elementary and middle school stars!

Join us at the Vinegar Hill Theatre for an afternoon of winter movie magic! Young filmmakers get their choice of festive filmmaking activities and make their own short films to bring home. Then they'll come together for a holiday movie on the big screen!

Stop Motion Magic: Learn the classic animation technique behind Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and The Nightmare Before Christmas, then create your own holiday mini-movie! We'll provide all the materials for you to create your own characters and bring them to life.

Green Screen Challenge: Test your memory of your favorite holiday stories! Filmmakers will work in small groups to recreate movies like Home Alone or How the Grinch Stole Christmas entirely from memory, using Light House's green screen studio and festive props and costumes.

A Big Screen Celebration: Once they're finished making their own movies, filmmakers will relax by watching a family-friendly holiday movie in our theater with popcorn and hot chocolate!
