This historical tour will cover some of the more macabre stories as you walk through the site at dusk. This tour takes you into the East and West Cell Houses, North Segregation, Cafeteria, Chapel and the Honor Dorm. This tour does not involve ghost hunting or paranormal activity. Pathways are lit for safety but guests are welcome to bring a flashlight for additional lighting if needed. We will enjoy dinner at Mamma Onesta’s Italian Restaurant before our tour at the prison. Dinner will be Chicken Pompeii, Penne with Sausage and Portobello Mushrooms, and Tortellini. Trip includes: transportation provided by Park District bus, dinner and 90-minute tour. Extensive walking and standing.
