Welcome the winter with traditional indigenous music, dancers, and family-friendly arts/crafts, as well as story-telling by Gina Roxas, Executive Director for the Trickster Cultural Center, ethnobiologist, and citizen of the Prairie Band Potawatomi! Learn about indigenous peoples’ connections to the winter solstice in this multi-cultural celebration. We’ll end with a community dance which everyone can join! Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided, along with a campfire and warming stations on the patio! Activities will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.
