NEW CLASS ALERT!  For students who love to sing,  dance, and act, this dynamic new Mini Musicals class with Mr. Derrick has it all!

For kids who love making up and performing their own songs, dances, and shows, Mini Musicals introduces singing, dancing, and acting to our youngest performers. Each class, students participate in fun creative play activities as well as learn vocals and choreography to popular Broadway songs. At the end of the semester, your young star will sing and dance to their favorite show tunes for an invited audience.

As with all of our Pre-K and young artist classes, we provide a nurturing child-centered environment in which to introduce young students to the FUNdamentals of SONG AND DANCE.

Notes : Class will be taught by Derrick Ladson, bio below: Dancer, Teacher, Choreographer, and Entrepreneur, Derrick is one of the founding faculty members of MST Dance Academy starting in 2014. Derrick got his dance training in New York City at the Broadway Dance Center with a focus in Hip hop dance. For the past 20 years he has taught at several different schools both public and private, after school programs, Boys & Girls of Hudson county both Hoboken and Jersey City locations. Derrick is also the Director of the HHA Summer Arts Workshops program sponsored by the City of Hoboken. As well as teaching, Derrick is also the Co-Owner of Thrifted by J & D, a small Hoboken business. When he isn't teaching or running his businesses, Derrick enjoys traveling and good food!
