In partnership with the VVMTA's Soul Dirt, Mountain Recreation is excited to offer backpacking. While backpacking can be exciting, it can also be expensive and maybe a little scary! Mountain Recreation and VVMTA can supply the gear and the expertise. Creating a safe space to get outside and try something new, adults of all-abilities are encouraged to join and experience the transformative power of the mountains in our backyard.

Good for the body and the brain, Soul Dirt provides sustainable recreation opportunities, creates access to the outdoors and builds community on the trails. Registration will include gear, food, and guidance for packing and preparing for the trip. Assistance for the three day, two-night event. Transportation to and from the trailhead. Fun new people in our community and a chance to try something new.
