Description :

In this program for grades K-3, young learners will dive into the wonders of spring through interactive, seasonal activities. Students will participate in a scavenger hunt to identify signs of spring, such as blooming flowers. They'll also engage in a Life Cycle Game to learn about the growth of plants and animals through different stages. The Seasonal Round Game will help students understand how the changing seasons affect the environment. Through these activities, children will discover the science behind the spring season, including plant growth, animal life cycles, and the changes in weather.

This program covers BC Science Curriculum including:

• Daily and seasonal changes affect all living things
• Living things have life cycles adapted to their environment
• How do offspring compare to their parents

Competencies:

• Adaptations of local plants and animals
• Basic needs
• Seasonal changes
• Living things make changes to accommodate daily and seasonal cycles
