Description :

Art of Sewing & Embroidery: Learn the basic stitches (running stitch, back stitch, split stitch, satin stitch, stem stitch, french knots and seed and fill stitches) and embellishments (buttons, sequins and seed beads) to enhance your creations.

You'll be working on hand-stitching your favorite fandom image on a pillow, pencil case, tote bag or the like. Additional projects may include how to embroider on paint canvas and other fiber art.

Each student will have their own sewing kit to take home at the end of the session.

Notes : Our After-School program is listed from 4-5:30pm, allowing all students to arrive on foot, by bus or drop off to make it in advance of instruction time between 4:30-5:30pm. Drop off students may arrive anytime after 4pm. WSSD can Bus to Us! Our staff receives the WSSD buses according to the transportation schedule from WES & NPE. Escorted walking bus is available from SRS. Please choose busing option at check out.
