Martha has a love for gardening and the outdoors which is reflected in much of her work. Because of this, she has chosen a garden totem project to create with the community. These garden totems will be made using mosaic techniques which will include found or repurposed items such as broken or discarded plates and ceramics. These totems will add beauty and interest to our public outdoor spaces that are enjoyed by those that live in and visit Swarthmore.

Anyone who would like to participate in creating these totems will be invited to come together in monthly workshops that will take place at The PAC Center. No previous experience is needed, just come and have fun while we create together! The finished works will be installed throughout town in places for the public at large to appreciate and enjoy in the Spring of 2026.
