Description :
Description In this basic sewing and design class, each student will design and create original projects! Using fabric, hand sewing needles, cotton, buttons, zippers, scissors, yarn, pattern paper, and sewing machines kids will learn how to make a pattern, hand sew, and use the machine. They will combine these skills to create a project to take home at the end of the session.
Instructor The Children’s Institute for Fashion Arts strives to give all children in-depth, hands-on, creative education in textiles, clothing, and design so they may understand the origins of culture, their own place in it, and have hope for a beautiful, sustainable future.
