Descriptions Students will walk with PS 154 staff to the beautiful YogaSole studio for these classes.

In Yoga and Crafts K - 1st and 2nd - 3rd graders will be guided through yoga and mindfulness followed by a variety of yoga and nature inspired crafts. In each yoga session, students will learn traditional yoga poses as well as yoga and meditation songs and chants. They will then have time to work on a small age-appropriate craft project designed to reinforce the concepts of mindfulness and connection to the natural world. Please register your child for the correct grade level via your Amilia account.

Instructor  Sunee LaClaire is a lifelong educator with a MS Degree from Bank Street College in Early Childhood Education. She has over two decades of teaching experience in many educational environments in New York, California, and China. She currently teaches yoga and is the managing partner of YogaSole, a welcoming community studio focusing on improving health and increasing students general well-being.
