The RCA Family Art Saturday offers a vibrant, hands-on experience for families to connect through creativity, exploring diverse art forms with the themes of "Art Around the World" and "Seasonal Art." Make a day family day adventure – join us in the cultural district every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month!

This event encourages participants of all ages to immerse themselves art adventures as a family!  It's a fantastic opportunity to nurture creativity, foster family bonding, and discover new ways to express and appreciate art from around the world and seasonal craft projects! Whether you're drawing, painting, or crafting, RCA Family Art Saturday Art Day provides a welcoming space for artistic exploration, learning, and fun…and we clean up the mess! All materials provided!

Worldbeat Dance & Art - Family Workshops
Immerse yourself in a world of creativity and movement with our Worldbeat Dance & Art Workshops! Held on the first Saturday of each month, these unique workshops explore a different culture each time, through both dance and art. Start with a lively one-hour dance class, where you'll learn traditional steps and rhythms, then unleash your creativity in a one-hour art session inspired by that culture’s artistic traditions. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer, an art enthusiast, or simply curious, this welcoming workshop invites you to move, create, and connect while celebrating the beauty of global traditions!

Instructor Bio
Tascheleia Marangoni is a professional dancer who resides in Kelowna, BC. She began her studies in dance at the age of 3, and boasts over 45 years of training and experience as a dancer, instructor, choreographer, studio owner, performer, and producer of dance from over twenty genres, including classical dance styles, and cultural dance, focusing on her passion for Dance Ethnology.

Notes : Rating: Family Schedule: Saturday, June 7 1st Saturday of the month Time: 11AM to 1PM Drop-in fee / 1 pass: $25.00 Location: RCA ATRIUM Located to the right of the main entrance Refund and Cancellation Policy: -14 days prior: full refund less $10 administration fee -7 days prior to the first day of the program: no refund. Registration Info: Min 8 / Max 16 If the RCA does not meet the minimum registration requirement for this course. The course may be cancelled or postponed. We will notify each participant registered.
