Description :

We will be exploring tools to better understand how to write a clown act and create your own original work:
- How to develop a story and play your character within a given framework
- Learn how to inject ideas, add elements, and maintain rhythm
- How to give the clown free rein in improvisation to unite the story with the character
- Learn how to write a routine on paper

This coaching method involves taking the time to become aware of the process of writing clown material. A clown act is a process that takes place both on stange and at the table. We have to put ourselves on the line to be able to write our act or our show. We remain attnetive to our character and it's logic regardless of the world or style of humor, and we begin to build little by little. The clown needs dramaturgy as much as other theatrical styles. Their dramaturgy comes from their conflict with their experiences, not just from what they do. This path is often a long process requiring precision and signifiacant sensory memory to be able to reproduce it. Often the sturggle of clowns.
