Description :

John Kornfeld edited, compiled and contributed to “Inheritance of Memory”, a collection of stories carried by Holocaust survivors and their children. Join us as we consider how these stories are passed down to grandchildren and future generations.

Kornfeld is the child of Holocaust survivors who escaped from Vienna in 1939, and a speaker for The Holocaust Story Project. He is also the beloved father and grandfather of the McCormick family, active members of our JCC community.

Stay after his remarks for a book signing and a self-guided visit to the restored Price Family Holocaust Memorial Garden.

• 7 p.m.: Doors open
• 7:30 p.m.: Remarks from John Kornfeld, Social Hall
• Following remarks: Book signing. Copies of “Inheritance of Memory” will be available for purchase from The King’s English Bookshop.

The memorial garden is outdoors. Please dress warmly.
