Four camps for youth will run this summer:
Multi-Sports Camp - Join us for an action-packed multi-sports camp, designed for youth ages 12-15 who love sports and want to develop their skills in a fun, energetic, and supportive environment. Our camp offers a unique opportunity to explore a variety of sports and learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship. Each day, campers will participate in different sports, skill-building drills, and exciting competitions to enhance their abilities and boost their confidence.
Girls INC Camp - Building strength and resilience in teens who identify as girls or non-binary through summer camp. Girls INC. aims to create confidence boosting and adventure-based programming for young teens. Campers will experience learning new skills, creative arts, outdoor activities and more! The goal is to shed insecurities, share experiences, build positive relationships, and leave with the tools to support and build healthy habits.
Outdoor Leadership Camp - Experience the ultimate summer adventure with our two-week immersive youth camp. In the first week, campers focus on cultivating leadership skills through engaging workshops and team-building exercises, nurturing a sense of responsibility and teamwork. Our group will receive valuable job training and demonstrate their skills as staff-assistants in our summer camp operations. This volunteer work can be used towards high school community service hours.
The second week takes campers on an unforgettable camping excursion to an Ontario Provincial Park (TBC). Amidst the beautiful natural setting, they will enjoy canoeing, outdoor games, beach time, and a variety of activities while acquiring valuable outdoor skills. This unique combination of leadership training and outdoor exploration promises an enriching and memorable experience for all participants.
Gaming Camp - In this unique one-week program, youth will get the opportunity to explore, play design and create games in a variety of mediums. The program will involve board games, digital games, escape rooms and even VR. We will explore and discuss game dynamics, player experiences and storytelling. The program will cap off with a team project of building and creating our own game in one of our explored mediums.
