In compliance with the new Washington State Law (ESSB 5814), we will begin charging sales tax on new enrollments beginning October 1, 2025. Sales tax will not be charged on enrollments before October 1. However, we are required to add sales tax to monthly payments scheduled after March 31, 2026. More details here

Our STEAM Academy Homeschool Program includes five 6-week Units, beginning the week of September 8, 2025. Created in-house by our team of veteran educators and STEM professionals, and designed especially for K–8 homeschool students, our curriculum meets or exceeds Washington State learning standards. We follow the Tahoma School District calendar for holiday breaks. Full-year enrollment covers all five Units—no re-enrollment required. Single-Unit enrollment is limited, and spots for future Units are filled on a space-available basis. Payment plans are available for full-year enrollment. STEAMboat Studio is an approved OASIS and PEARL provider.
