WoodChucks is designed for your 10-14 year old with the same old lovable outdoor school stuff, and a great option for kids who have grown up in our programs and want to keep going.

This Friday afternoon session has all the same foundational elements AND we’ve got an emphasis on craft. Yes, we’re talking all kinds of carving: try-sticks, spoons, figurines, whatever we can imagine, but also a deep dive into the old wise ones that surround us in the woods: the cedars, the cottonwoods, the maples, and the buckthorns.

Notes : * Drop off is between 8:45am and 9:15am * Pick up is between 3:45 and 4:15pm, at the latest. * If you arrive late (past 9:15am), please escort your child to program and make contact with a staff member before leaving. Please send your child with: - a filled and durable water bottle, snacks and lunch for the day and clothes equal to the weather. Trial Sessions are an option - for up to two (2) weekly sessions.  Simply register, and if the program isn’t a fit, GOS will provide a full refund minus fees for the days attended.  Once a third session is attended, we consider a registration fee to be final for the chosen trimester. Cancellation Policy. Should a cancellation be requested before a program start, we can offer a full refund minus the cost of one day of program to recover administrative fees. After 2 weeks of attendance, commitment to fees is considered final, and GOS is not obligated to offer refunds or credits for that trimester.
