This is the first Beginner course - where you start if you are new to Swedish learning. It is for students with little or no prior knowledge of Swedish. It emphasizes foundational skills in pronunciation, grammar, and everyday communication, enabling the students to engage in simple daily interactions such as greetings and introductions.

The curriculum also integrates cultural insights, providing learners with an understanding of Swedish society and traditions. By the end of the course, students can continue to Swedish Beginner 1B.
