Description :

This course will focus on printmaking techniques of block printing and screen printing. Learn to print and reproduce your own posters and t-shirts with techniques you can replicate at home. No prior knowledge of printmaking required! 

About the Instructor: Marin Carr-Quimet is an artist currently based in Chapel Hill. They have a BFA from UNC Chapel Hill, and work primarily in ceramic, sculpture and printmaking. They love working with collaborative processes and social practice work. https://marincarrquimet.com/.

Prix : 246,00 $ Taxes exonérées

Notes : Bring $40 materials fee, payable to instructor on the first day of class. Materials fee covers linoleum and MDF blocks, a silk screen, inks, and other materials. Students need to bring their own linoleum cutting tool and paper/fabric for their final prints and are welcome to bring any other materials they want to use, such as specialty inks or additional screens.
