Description :

These 3-hour sessions, led by a moderator rather than an instructor, offer a space to drop in and practice your drawing skills. A moderator will lead the session through a traditional format that includes an initial series of short gesture poses followed by several 5, 10 and 20 minute poses. Although there are no formal prerequisites for this session, it’s helpful to have had drawing experience/instruction in order to make this session as meaningful as possible. Easels will be provided by the ArtsCenter, and students will be responsible for bringing their own drawing materials.

Note: Minimum age for these sessions is 16. These sessions feature a nude figure model.

Notes : $5 model fee. Participants should bring charcoal or pencil, drawing pad(s) including newsprint. If desired: paint (not oil) and relevant painting materials may be used.
