Description :

In this class students will learn to build and work with their sewing skills whether they are a beginner or have some experience with sewing. The projects in this class will focus on alterations only, not clothing construction. We will explore pants hems, taking in and letting out a garment, mending, and more. For ages 18+.

About the Instructor: Rachel Moon has had a life long love of art and sewing. She is a professional sewist with over 15 years experience currently working as an alterationist and custom sewist. From performing bridal alterations, to making eclectic upcycled costumes, to sewing custom fit tee shirts she’s done a variety of sewing projects for people all over the country. In 2016 her passion for collage art and sewing came together when she created her first collaged garment. This is now her favorite medium and she would like to share this passion with others who are interested in creating a unique look and preserving a beloved tee shirt. linktr.ee/rachelmoonsews, instagram.com/rachel_moon_sews.
