LEVEL 5: Stroke Refinement
The purpose of this level is to provide further coordination and refinement of strokes.
This class is for swimmers that are deep water safe. Swimmers must have a knowledge of the four competitive strokes and sidestroke, and are ready for stroke refinement.
Participants MUST be able to:
- Completed the skills of Level 4
Participants will focus on performing the following skills:
- Diving from side of pool
- Front crawl and backstroke with proper technique with flip turns
- Tread water
- Swim breaststroke, sidestroke and butterfly with proper technique
Participants must be able to complete the above skills comfortably with confidence and consistency to move to Level 6.
