YMCA at the Heights Youth Basketball

Get ready for another exciting season of Huber Heights YMCA Youth Basketball! Open to boys and girls ages 3 through high school, our program is designed to help young athletes develop basketball skills, build confidence, make new friends, and most importantly, have fun in a positive and encouraging environment.

Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or has been playing for years, every player will have the opportunity to learn, improve, and grow under the guidance of our amazing volunteer coaches. Along the way, athletes will learn the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and the YMCA's core values. Every game begins with the YMCA Sports Pledge and ends with a handshake, reinforcing that character is just as important as competition.

Important Dates

• Early Bird Registration Ends: November 9
• Regular Registration Ends: December 7
• Practices Begin: Week of January 4
• Games Begin: January 16
• Tournament Begins: Week 9 – March 13
• Championship Week: March 20

Teams will typically practice once per week, with one game each week, usually on Saturdays, although an occasional weeknight game may be scheduled depending on league scheduling.

Some divisions may also travel to other YMCA branches within our association for games throughout the season, giving players the opportunity to compete against teams from across the YMCA of Greater Dayton.
