Description:

• The 2019 Boys or Girls Soccer (U8) divisions are an opportunity for recreational soccer for youth born in 2019. This league will be a 4v4 format of play, and games are two 20-minute halves. Practices will be held on Monday/ Wednesday or Tuesday/ Thursday at various city locations. Games will be held on Saturdays at Monfort Park no matter what practice location you choose. All teams are led by volunteer coaches. 

• Practices: Begin week of August 17. Twice a week on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday at various city park locations. A half field and one standard size goal are included at minimum at all offered practice locations. 

• Games: Begin Saturday, the week of August 24. 5 games guaranteed on Saturdays at Monfort Park. Double headers will be scheduled in case of an odd number of teams or weather cancellations.

Notes: Equipment Required (responsibility of participant): Youth Sports Jersey, $17, can be purchased at Family FunPlex or Greeley Rec Center. Jerseys are the same as previous seasons, so if your child’s jersey still fits, reuse it! Shin Guards - must be worn for all practices and games. Shoes - athletic shoes or rubber cleats (cleats recommended for all ages over 6) Soccer socks of any color. Preferred (not required) - participants to bring their own ball for practices.
