Counselor-in-Training (CIT) is perfect for teens who love camp and are ready to step into a leadership role! Designed for older campers who want to build skills in teamwork, communication, and responsibility, this camp session combines leadership training with hands-on experience working alongside our Team Members. CITs will assist with activities, support younger campers, and participate in daily workshops that prepare them to become future camp counselors—all while enjoying the fun and energy of day camp!

During week 2 of Counselor-in-Training (CIT), teens will learn how to prepare for taking the next step to becoming a Team Member by preparing a resume, participating in mock interviews, and learning more about CAMP INNOVATION and Arizona Science Center. CIT’s will spend more time working with younger campers and Instructors to become comfortable utilizing their skills. CITs who will be 16 years old by the start of the next camp session will be eligible to meet with the camp leadership team to explore opportunities to join the CAMP INNOVATION team.

Price: $600.00 Taxes waived

Required age: 13 - 17 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Please send your camper with snacks and a water bottle daily

Prerequisites: Camper should be a rising 7th - 12th grader for the 2026/2027 school year
