Description:
Get ready for a wild ride through Earth’s most extreme adventures! In Nature Unleashed, campers will shake things up with earthquake simulations, create mini volcano eruptions, and explore the swirling power of hurricanes, tornadoes, and tsunamis. From roaring wildfires to icy blizzards, campers will uncover the awesome science behind nature’s biggest events. It’s one action-packed week of hands-on fun, messy experiments, and unstoppable excitement!

Required age: 5 - 13 years old on the day of the activity
Notes: BASIS Flagstaff will be closed and camp will not be held on Friday, June 19, for federal holiday observance. If your child is registered for a HALF DAY, please arrive at the BASIS Flagstaff front office no later than 12:00 p.m. Upon arrival, call the number posted on the front door (480-341-0280) to reach the Offsite Camp Manager. The manager will notify your child’s instructor, and your child will then be released to you.
Prerequisites: Camper should be a rising 1st-6th grader for the 2026/2027 school year.
