Program Description The Wine Cap mushroom (Stropharia rugosoannulata) is a large edible mushroom that grows easily and aggressively on wood chips and other commonly used mulching materials. It’s a terrific mushroom for beginners and can be incorporated into many landscaping projects. Come learn the basics of Wine Cap cultivation with a demonstration and a discussion of the proper approaches to growing this beautiful mushroom at home. About the Teacher: Conor Cash Is a truly unique mushroom educator and artist. His mushroom series is made up of 6 educational workshops ranging from foraging to growing mushrooms. At the end of his series, Conor is going to hold an art exhibit at CEED.
