Description:
Get ready to unlock the natural magic of color in this hands-on Indigo Dyeing Workshop led by artist and plant-dyer Bernadette Puleo!
Using just a handful of Japanese Indigo leaves and a touch of salt, you’ll learn how to create vibrant blue hues on silk. Choose from a flowing silk scarf to wear or a charming gift bag—perfect for a wine bottle or keepsake.
But the creativity doesn’t stop there! After dyeing your piece, you’ll have the chance to:
🎨 Stencil designs using rolled-up leaves or pigment
🍃 Hammer a real leaf print right onto your fabric
🌱 Take home live indigo stems to root and grow your own dye garden
This workshop is equal parts art, science, and magic—and you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation and a living piece of the process.
