Unlock the wonders of the natural world and deepen your connection to the environment with CEED’s Nature Journaling Program! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the practice of observing, sketching, and reflecting on the beauty around you.

About the Teacher:
Jennifer Lucas is a local artist and watercolor instructor with a Certificate in Natural Science Illustration from the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG). She specializes in blending artistic expression with scientific observation, teaching
accessible classes that inspire creativity and connection to the natural world. Jennifer is passionate about sharing her love of nature journaling and watercolor techniques with her community, making art an inclusive and enriching experience for all.

Required age: Over 15 years old on the day of the activity
Prerequisites: No prior experience is required. These workshops are designed for novice through experienced artists.
