March 12–14, 2027 | Ballet 5:8 Studios, Orland Park, IL Train hard. Be seen. Make real progress. The American Youth Ballet Festival (AYBF) is a three-day training and performance experience for serious young dancers. Hosted by Ballet 5:8, AYBF gives dancers the benefits of a traditional competition weekend—high-level training, performance experience, outside feedback, and the opportunity to be seen by professional artists and directors—without rankings, medals, or competition pressure. Participants will take Master Classes with Yumelia Garcia, Julianna Rubio Slager, Sarah Clarke, Dora Ciacca, and Alessandro Angelini, connect with dancers from other schools, perform on Ballet 5:8’s Mainstage, and receive meaningful faculty feedback focused on their individual artistic and technical growth. Festival Schedule Eligibility: Dancers ages 11+ by audition or invitation Lodging: A special festival rate is available at HomeWood Suites in Orland Park. Use this link to access the room block. Meals: An optional meal plan may be purchased during registration. AYBF is built around growth, artistry, and community—not comparison. Come ready to work, perform, receive honest feedback, and leave with a clearer understanding of where your training can take you next. Notes: Festival Tuition Policy Festival tuition includes all classes, rehearsals, costume use, and performance fees associated with the event. Tuition is non-refundable and required in full regardless of attendance. Missed classes, rehearsals, or performances do not qualify for refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments. Families are responsible for the full tuition balance once registration is confirmed.
