What to Expect

Early season introduction: 6 sessions, 90 minutes in duration.

Requires a minimum of 4 participants for the program to run.

• Learn kayak-style paddling and try sprint canoe paddling
• Get comfortable in a boat and learn to navigate with confidence
• Master essential skills, such as getting in and out of a kayak, recovering from a tip, and returning to the dock
• Experience paddling a C15 (war canoe)
• Join our supportive community and continue improving your skills with our Masters program

Required age: Over 18 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Program fees may be refunded upon receipt of a written request to the Membership Director (membership@banookcanoeclub.com), and if request is received prior to the beginning of a program. Generally, if a program has already begun, written requests for a refund may be approved by the Membership Director, for medical reasons only. If a credit card payment is refunded, the refunded amount will be for the package cost only, and will not include the administrative fee paid to the payment processor. Banook Canoe Club reserves the discretion to issue, in lieu of a refund, an account "credit" that may be use towards a future program registration.
