BGCNS's mandate is to ensure that all community members have equal access to club programs and facilities. Our commitment to equal access is reflected in our staff, volunteers and directors whose mission is to lead by example and treat every individual with dignity and respect regardless of colour, sex, sexual orientation, age, ancestry, creed, marital status, income, family status or disability/special need.

Our Commitment

The Boys and Girls Clubs of North Simcoe (BGCNS) is committed to protecting the privacy of it's employees, members, donors, volunteers and other stakeholders. BGCNS values the trust of those we deal with, and of the public, and recognizes that maintaining this trust requires that we be transparent and accountable in how we treat the personal information that you choose to share with us.

What is Personal Information?

Personal information is any information about an identifiable individual, including a person's name, birth date, marital status, social insurance number, ID numbers, income, ethnicity, blood type, passwords, licence plate number, interests, hobbies, habits, medical records and history, or financial information.

Types of Information We Collect and How It Is Used

During the course of our various projects and activities, BGCNS occasionally gathers personal information. For example, personal information may be provided to us through membership applications, program registrations and donations.

Personal information gathered by BGCNS is kept in confidence. The personal information provided to us is used only for the purposes for which it was provided. You are in control of any personal information you provide to us. If, at any time, you would like to update or correct the personal information we have about you, please let us know.

Updating of Privacy Policy

BGCNS regulary reviews it's Privacy Policy to ensure that it accords with best practices. Any revised versions of the privacy policy will be made available on our website, or hard copies can be obtained at the Club.
